Two WaysThe fluorescent lights flash over your eyelids as hushed but growing voices ring in your ears, the grooves in the linoleum tile beneath you jostling your aching limbs. A light wind rushes over your face in the hospital hallway, the doctors hurrying you faster and faster towards a far off fork in the road: two pairs of swinging double doors await your arrival as a woman’s voice cracks through the herd of panting men.by MeiFongAiKatil
She sounds worried, scared—who is this woman? Do you know her? As her voice grows louder, clearer, you can piece together a face for the name in your head: a pale, rosy cheeked brunette smiles at you from behind your eye lids. You can faintly remember a kiss on the cheek from this woman that morning as she ushered you out of the door, box lunch and school bag in hand. Though it seems so long ago, you can faintly remember leaving home and clambering onto that yellow school bus, your friends waiting in the front most seats.
The double doors grow slowly closer as the

The IllusionYou are the illusion, you never shall end,by kiwi-damnation
With the cloak and the mask the truth you will bend,
And with callous objections you’ll corrupt all you see,
Until you’re surrounded by all who believe.
You are the illusion, you never shall fall,
Their pain is your life force, their terror- your call,
You swoop and you glide and you take what you need,
Until they are broken, no more can they bleed.
You are the illusion, the face of the damned,
You steal away innocence, smite all you can,
Fill them with horror and desolate dreams,
Happy- you listen to each of their screams.
You are the illusion, yet I have the eyes,
I watch you – I see what’s beneath that disguise,
Try taint me, and pain me- steal all that I love,
And I shall ignore you, soar far above.
You are the illusion, yet now none believe,
They can all see you, they’re listening to me?
Who will be there to take care of your mask?
And your cloak- as you’ve failed in your task.
You are the illusion; you elude

The Soldier, Part One.Growing up I always wanted to be the hero that I dreamt I could be,by Envenomed-Ascent
Fighting for my country, my land, my people’s safety,
Knowing well I could get hurt,
But take that hurt instead of someone else,
I wanted to be the soldier.
Days and years went by as I held my dream close,
My views unchanged, my world still the same,
Until I found my first love,
She left me after but a short while,
Something inside me broke.
My ideas, my mind was changing in the blink of an eye,
In the span of a second the soldier seemed to cry,
Everything that I was had been cast away,
Everything that I would become was forgotten in the flames,
I was broken that long time ago.
I soon began to find myself anew,
My desire to see through my days of fighting still strong,
I wanted to go far away to fight,
To never come home.
As I grew once again, love lost within my head,
My morals all seemed in danger,
A tirade was thrown against me daily,
Burning through my happy façade,
To find the soldier deep inside.
I had

A Different MemoryI laughed loudly as I walked down the hallway, sandwiched comfortably between four of my best friends from grade school. I stumbled as I bounced between them, making jokes and complaining about the next period. Lucy laughed the loudest, his voice deep and melodious as she opened her mouth to say something else— but she never got to.by ForeverIsLimited
A gunshot stopped her. At first, no one knew it was a gunshot. The hallway, filled with noisy teenagers, grew instantly silent. It was only until the second shot, the one where people started screaming, that it became clear. In that split second, a normal day erupted into chaos. I couldn’t find a familiar face; I could hardly remember where I was. All I was aware of were the rushing tides of peers, the loud bang of gunshots, and a few screams that stood out from the rest.
I turned a few times in place, what else was there to do? Run? Which way? Screams were coming from all directions, how was I supposed to know which way was safe? On a whim, I rus

My Writing Notebook.
Today is a great day. Today, I finished my first writing notebook. The one where I started writing all my ideas and stories.
I'm kinda proud, it's like a little victory. I had enough ideas to full a notebook. It's great.
Also because it has an emotional value to me, I took that notebook and I thought "Yeah, now I'm going to get better and become a real writer, and I'll put down here good ideas!"
And Now I'm here and it's full.
Wow.
