Strength of little things

The first verse is a quote of Ovid (his real name: Publius Ovidius Naso), one of the greatest Latin poet. In Latin, it is: Gutta cavat lapidem, Drop digs stone.

Anyway, this is for =MSJames workshop (for *Writers-Workshop for sure!) about tanka. I'm not sure this is the one I want to submit...
A Tanka must talk about romance and nature.
There's romance (and you can obviously read it), and there's nature (what's more natural than water that digs stones with its slow but strong movement?)

But there's something I'm not satisfied with, and I don't know what it is! So, please, be evil critics and say to me what you think I must change!

And as always... help me with my English
