After all, only Death and Life by ~xCamix:iconxCamix:

This all seemed fine
the vision became a reality with the slow, steady assault
of many more people into the equation

The way to creating real
since they do not believe in an afterlife
might pin their hopes
on their own

Just waiting he's six feet under
to follow the usual pattern

Where was the chemistry?
We love a gifted mess

Last week
bad occupation and war against
the most overlooked - but most important - element
soberness
apparently killed
who thinks by the inch

But it is very sad, you know
it takes strenght to cope with all that drama.

Work for *Writers-Workshop

This is called "Found Poetry"; cut and stick piece from any resources to make something that first could appear like nonsense, but instead is full of meanings and personal interpretations.

Well, this was a challenge for me.
I used as resource one journal called "English 24"--it's sold in my country and help improving in English, taking articles from all the most notorious journals (from The Daily Telegraph" to "The New York Times" and so on). I used the number 3, of march 2008.
Hell, only to find the first sentences I read all the journal 2 times.

Then, a little of what might be called inspiration came.
Well, I don't know if it has or hasn't a bit of sense--my only hope is that YOU can bring out from it a sense, the sense you think is the best.

For me, it talks about difficulties of life, strangenes of death, importance and strenght of both.

And now, I think I have to relax a bit 'cause my brain is exploding.

Please help me improving: CRITIQUE AS EVILY AS YOU CAN! Be ultra-honest.

Mhm I think it's about a guy who couldn't handle all of life's problems so he died...or maybe killed himself? So now he's just waiting for true happiness, waiting to go to heaven.

Grazie mille ** *me commossa asciugare lacrimuccia di nascosto*

Wow. I've never thought about this interpretation. That's absolutelyan interesting opinion!

So, do you think this could work, or do I have to work on it?

Could I confess without guilt I don't like it because I hate this kind of poetry?

Psychology says that we put our deep feelings and emotions in stuff that is unclear to us. It's called projection. What I throw of myself now is not pleased at all.

Fortunately last line encourages "it takes strenght to cope with all that drama". That's great touch to end the poem like that!
:iconxcamix:
Sure you can--It's your opinion :aww: And I'm always interested in opinions!
Well, I feel better knowing you don't like it 'cause of the genre and not 'cause of my lack of skills XD

That's interesting to know... I'll remember it

It really hit me when I read it, so I had to put it in the poem! :aww: Glad you think it's fine!

"Just waiting he's six feet under
to follow the usual pattern"

"Where was the chemistry?
We love a gifted mess"

Ah, ehm.

"I'm not afraid of computers taking over the world. They're just sitting there. I can hit them with a two by four"
:iconbeatlesfreak:
I think it has potential, some parts I found a bit confusing though like maybe you get off theme sometimes.

:iconbeatlesfreak:
But it also shows that you put a lot of work into this which is always great.
